When not at my computer, I try to stay outside as much as possible. I don’t find the tan from my computer screen flattering! You are most likely to find me in the woods somewhere which would be disappointing, since I go there to avoid being found! I enjoy camping, fishing, romping around on the ATV, whatever helps me release the energy that gets bottled up when I’m forced to mingle with society!
From my teen years until I was thirty, I was gainfully employed as a carpenter so woodworking is still in my blood (and, because of all the splinters, my blood is still in the woodwork!). I completely remodeled the first two homes we owned and am in the process of customizing our current home. I built the deck you see on my welcome page for my sister who lives on Hilton Head Island SC. She thinks I did it cuz I’m nice but I really did it so I’d have a place to party without the fire ants tearing me up!
When I’m not hiding in the woods or working with wood, you may find me using my three wood to make divots at the local golf course (what wood the staff do if they caught me?). On rare occasions, if the band is hot and the beer is cold, you can catch me scuffing up the hardwood on the ol' dance floor! |
