About Me

Let’s start with the basics. Contrary to popular belief my name is Dave, Not Sega. LOL. I’m forty-something and still in denial about being a grown up. I live in a rural suburb of Philadelphia with my wife, Barb and my two kids, David and Jessica.

Our Home

For a living, I masquerade as a Computer Systems Analyst, specializing in the installation and operation of large scale computing environments and network infrastructures. What, you may be asking, does that mean? Basically I work in data centers, or computer rooms, hooking things up and keeping them running. It’s somewhat less exciting than skydiving or cliff jumping, but it’s rewarding and so far pays the bills!

My Wife and Kids

My wife Barb is a Registered Nurse currently working in Oncology at a local hospital. She enjoys the work but hates the stress! When not taking care of sick people, Barb enjoys fishing.

David, our oldest, was born in 1990 and has been trying our patience ever since (Just kidding David!). Now 15, David’s interests are pretty much standard for today’s teens. Skateboarding, online gaming, skateboarding, girls, skateboarding, soccer, skateboarding, snowboarding and skateboarding! David is extremely bright and personable and continues to make us proud.

Jessica, our youngest, was born in 1992. That makes her a teenage girl now. Sheesh, I am sooo not ready! LOL. Jessica has become the daredevil of the family. It is becoming impossible to keep her away from our ATV’s and other things with wheels and motors. She is heavily into organized soccer and basketball, and has a true talent for art. Jess works hard at everything she does and her enthusiasm is contagious. Like David, we are always proud of Jessica.
